Here at BikeTown we couldn’t agree more. We love riding our bikes and want to help as many people as we can love riding their bikes, too.

We are holding another basic bike maintenance class this Saturday, April 17. It will take place at
BikeTown from 9:30– 11:00 am. We have spots available for 6 people in these classes. At this point, there is only 1 spot left for this Saturday's class. There is no charge for this class, but you do need to reserve your spot. Give us a call at 325-677-BIKE (2453) to let us know you want one of the spots. The class will cover changing flats, quick-release skewers, tire pressure, and chain lubes. Come learn from a mechanic with 25 years of experience. I guarantee there is something you can learn from him!
Another beginner workshop is coming up soon. If you haven't had the chance to get to one of these free workshops in the past, mark your calendar for Saturday morning, August 16 at 9:00 am. Come on in to the store and spend some time listening to Gary share some of his tips about bike maintenance as well as some tips for those emergency, on-the-road repairs. Bring your bike with you because you will be practicing what you're learning! This is not a sit still and listen type of class. Be ready to get some hands-on practice while learning from a mechanic with years of experience.
There will be coffee and some sweet morning treats provided. There is only space for 4 or 5 people at this workshop, so make sure you let us know soon if you want to participate. Use the email link at the bottom of the page to reserve your spot.
There will be a bike maintenance clinic at the store this Saturday, June 28, at 9:00 am. Gary will be taking you through some things you need to know about your bike, including changing flats, emergency repairs when you're out on the road, etc. There is no charge, but you do need to reserve a spot if you plan to attend. There are still some slots available, so if you are interested in hearing what Gary has to say, leave us a comment, give us a call, or send us an email.
For those of you who want to find out a little bit more about how to use and take care of your bicycle, this workshop is for you! It will be held at BikeTown on Saturday, November 3, from 9:00 -10:00 am. Coffee and a little breakfast snack will be provided. There is a small fee of $10 per participant to cover the cost of some items you will be using during the workshop. There are only a few spots left, so contact us soon by email or phone to get your name on the list. When we fill all the spots we will start a waiting list and let those people get first chance at the next workshop.
